Every year on 4th July US-Americans celebrate their independence from Great Britain. It was only in 1870 though that July 4th became the official holiday we know today. The American Revolution began on April 19th, 1775 and the Declaration of Independence was only finalized on July 4th, 1776.

But class 7d wanted to join in and honour one of the oldest democracies in our world.
We dressed up and partied with traditional food (no barbecue though) and played games and learned about the background of July 4th.
